Queen’s Baton Relay 2010 in Northern Ireland

BELFAST, 12 Nov 2009: The Queen’s Baton 2010 Delhi arrived in Belfast, Northern Ireland, from Cardiff, Wales. On 13 November 2010 the baton will travel to Portadown and will also visit the Mayor's Parlour at Craigavon Civic Centre and and then visit the Dungannon Royal School. The Mayor of Enniskillen will receive the baton at the Enniskillen Town Hall.

Northern Ireland is one of the four constituent countries of the United Kingdom. Situated in the north-east of Ireland, it shares a border with the Republic of Ireland to the south and west. Northern Ireland first participated in 1934 and then in 1938 games and since 1954 it is regularly sending its team to all Commonwealth Games.
