CAUTION NOTICE

Notice is hereby given to all concerned that Organising Committee Commonwealth Games 2010 Delhi (“Delhi 2010”) (a registered society under the  Societies Registration Act 1860, having its office at New Delhi City Centre - Tower II, Opposite Jantar Mantar, Jai Singh Road, New Delhi - 110 001) has been delegated the responsibility of organising and hosting the XIX Commonwealth Games to be held in Delhi during 3rd – 14th October, 2010 (“Games”) and is the owner of all intellectual property rights relating to the Games in India including, but not limited to all trade marks, designs, logos and copyright associated with the Games and all new media and entertainment rights, distributorship rights and rights to pre broadcast, live broadcast and post broadcast the Games or any of the events proposed to be held which constitute the Games (“Intellectual Property Rights”). 

The Intellectual Property Rights include the content and/or materials presented on www.cwgdelhi2010.org (the official website of the Delhi 2010) including, but not limited to, text, audio, video and/or graphical images, visual representations and/or any other designs or any combination thereof. The Intellectual Property Rights also include the trade marks, designs, logos and copyright set out below (“Delhi 2010 Marks”):

Delhi 2010 has exclusive statutory and common law rights to use and license the use of the Delhi 2010 Marks and the Delhi 2010 Marks are essential to enable Delhi 2010 to promote, organise and host the Games. By virtue of the extensive use of the Delhi 2010 Marks by Delhi 2010, the Delhi 2010 Marks have acquired international reputation, goodwill and importance.
