Several retail shops will be located in the International Zone, including a bank, a post office, a general store, a hair salon, a merchandise store, a phone shop, a photo and camera shop, a florist, a wheelchair workshop, an ice cream parlour and handicraft stores.

Recreational Services::

For the relaxation and enjoyment of the athletes and team officials, the International Zone also contains a TV lounge, games room, internet café, village bar and disco.

Entertainment Services:

An entertainment programme has been planned to help the athletes relax and unwind, at the same time experience and enjoy the rich cultural heritage of India.

Live craft demonstrations will have national award-winning artisans demonstrating how their products are made. The interactive sessions will give a closer look at Indian traditions, providing an opportunity to engage with the artisans making ethnic Indian handicrafts.

Cultural programmes will be held at the Ceremonial Plaza, providing a glimpse into modern India. They will include live performances by music bands.

The Twilight Cinema will show a variety of movies, as well as the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the XIX Commonwealth Games 2010 Delhi.

The Exhibition Area will display the philately exhibition, photos of the awardees of the day, and the like. It will also display products of the artisans who will perform live craft demonstrations at the Ceremonial Plaza.

The International Zone also includes the Guest Pass Centre, the VIP Waiting Area, the Chefs de Mission Meeting Hall, the Mayor’s Office, and the Media Centre.
