Australia and India go head-to-head in Singles finals

India and Australia will have an exciting face off in the Men's and Women's Singles finals after Aussie Greg Jones, Somdev Devvarman and Sania Mirza of India, won their semifinals on Friday.

Devarrman emphatically defeated Matt Ebden of Australia 6-3, 6-1, while Jones took two hours and 42 minutes to defeat countryman Peter Luczak 6-7, 6-4, 6-2.

"It's huge. Today was one of my biggest days," said Devvarman.

"It's exciting for me," said Jones. "Hopefully I can get the Gold for my country."

In the women’s front, Mirza fought back from a set down to beat Olivia Rogowska of Australia 1-6, 6-4, 6-4 to set up a final against either Anastasia Rodionova or Sally Peers.

The action continues in the Men's Doubles as Ken Skupski and Ross Hutchins of England take on Paul Hanley and Peter Luczak of Australia in the Men's finals.

Skupski and Hutchins silenced the crowd at the Centre Court when they recovered from being a set down, defeating Rohan Bopanna and Somdev Devvarman 3-6, 6-3, 6-4.

"We played awesome," said Hutchins"We combined well, and now we're looking forward to trying to get Gold for England."
