Delegates on a visit to the Training Area, Games Village
Games Village is best ever in history of CWG: Fennell

The Games Village today drew effusive praise from the head of the Commonwealth Games Federation, Mr. Michael Fennell, who described it as the best he had ever seen.
"The atmosphere in the Games Village is extremely positive. Representatives are relishing the facilities there, especially the training and practice facilities...the best facilities I have seen anywhere at any Games I have been to so far," Fennell said at a media conference held today morning.
The D2010 Games Village has been appreciated world-wide. Spread over an area of 63.5 hectares and surrounded by a dense green natural cover, it comprises the Residential Zone, International Zone, Training Area, Main Dining, and the Operational Zone. The entire Village is universally accessible, keeping in mind the needs of Para-sport athletes.
