Security & Home Rules
Security Screening

All Spectators are requested to

Go through security screening before entering the venue
Cooperate with the security staff/volunteers and follow their instructions of queuing up
Accord consent to be photographed at the flap-barriers at the time of barcode scanning of tickets
Give consent for a search, and declare if at all you are carrying anything. Be prepared to have your bags screened through X-ray machines and the contents of your pockets inspected
All venues have a security screening process which includes metal detection – Door Frame Metal Detectors (DFMDs) and X-ray scanners. Let the security staff know if, for any medical reasons (such as a pacemaker) you are not comfortable undergoing the metal detection
Be prepared to wait in a queue for your turn to pass through the screening process
Check the list of prohibited items before leaving your house/entering the screening area

Home Rules for Spectators
Spectators are requested to abstain from disruptive behavior
Spectators who are intoxicated will not be permitted entry into venue
Spectators with disabilities and children will be extended required assistance
Spectators will occupy their designated seats and show their ticket when requested
Spectators will not enter the field of play of any venue under any circumstances, or else they may be liable for legal action
Spectators will comply with requests from the stadium staff regarding stadium operations and emergency response procedures
Children are the responsibility of their parents/guardians. At no point should they be left unescorted
Contact the nearest usher if, for any reason, another spectator is interfering while you are watching an event
Spectators not complying with the above directions may be asked to leave the venue, besides being liable for other actions as deemed appropriate in keeping with the law and existing rules and regulations

Important to note that Delhi Police:
May, in its sole discretion, prevent you from entering or evict you from a venue if you are under the influence of alcohol or drugs
May, at any time, on suspicion, search and inspect you or any bag in your possession or control, and may require you to empty you pockets
Reserves the right in its sole discretion to confiscate any item in contravention of these conditions and to retain and/or dispose any such item
Reserves the right to refuse admission into a venue to ensure compliance with the above conditions

The OC CWG Delhi 2010 may alter this list of prohibited items and/or behaviour any time and for any venue
